No. 418 Tufting Clasps

The No. 418 Tufting Clasps, made by C.S. Osborne & Co., are small, high-quality steel fastening clips used to provide a secure internal anchor point for tufting threads without damaging fabric or padding.

Used with the No. 417 12" Tufting Needle, they are pushed through the upholstery and padding and released inside the cushion, where they lock firmly in place. This system allows for fast, consistent button tufting without the need to access the back side of the work, making it ideal for furniture, headboards, and other deep-tufted upholstery applications.
