General Purpose Upholstery Foam

General Purpose Upholstery Foam is an industry-standard grade polyurethane foam designed for light-use cushioning and support. With a 1.3 lb/cubic foot density and a compression rating of 28–34 lbs IFD, it’s best suited for headboards, seat backs, padding, bolstering, and craft projects where moderate firmness is needed without heavy weight.

⚠ Not recommended for primary seating cushions! Low-density foam compresses too easily for regular sitting, but can be used as a plush top layer when paired with medium- or high-density foam.
