Stayput™ Snap Clip Fastener

The Stayput™ Snap Clip Fastener is a drop-in replacement for standard Line 24 (5/8") snap fasteners in applications where corrosion resistance is more important than maximum strength—such as marine use, awnings, and tarping. Made from UV-stabilized nylon, it withstands harsh outdoor environments without rusting, staining, or degrading, while remaining lightweight and easy to install.

Installing the top cap is quick and easy:

1. Punch a 3/16" (#00) hole in the canvas where the top cap will go
2. Insert the cap through the hole and line up the shaft with the hole in the backplate
3. Gently tap the top cap with a soft-faced mallet until both pieces are firmly secured to the canvas

The stud component can be fastened in place using a #6 flat-head screw (sold separately), or it can be riveted to another piece of fabric for canvas-to-canvas applications.
