The 24" Metal Upholstery Tacking Strip, made from rigid, galvanized metal, is designed to create clean, straight edges where fabric can’t be stapled—most commonly on the outside arms and back of furniture. It’s typically used in pairs to tension fabric by pushing through the material, rolling it over, and tacking it into the frame for a crisp, professional finish.

We recommend using a softer-faced mallet (rubber, nylon, or rawhide) when setting the strip to avoid damaging the strip, fabric, or frame.
