DOT® Common Sense® Twist-Lock Fastener Eyelet

The DOT® Common Sense® Twist-Lock Fastener Eyelet is the female part of the Common Sense ("Turn Button") fastener system. Installed on the front-facing layer of canvas, it has the channels that the stud locks into when twisted.

Made from sturdy nickel-plated brass, DOT-brand fasteners offer exceptional corrosion resistance and outstanding outdoor durability, making them the preferred choice in 99% of marine applications.

Installation is simple: plan and cut 4 prong holes using the 4120 Turn Button Hand Punch or similar tool, (2) insert the eyelet, then flip the canvas over and position the washer (sold separately) in between the four prongs, and (3) secure the assembly by folding the prongs inward over the washer.

Available in both single (6.1 mm leg) and double (7.5 mm leg) length configurations to accommodate various fabric thicknesses.
