Description

The 3M™ Scotchlite™ 8987 F.R. Lime/Yellow Sew-On Reflective Tape is a durable, high-visibility trim designed for use on accessories, safety vests, uniforms, harnesses, rainwear, jackets, and custom applications such as letters, numbers, patches, and crests. The fluorescent lime-yellow fabric enhances daytime visibility, while the exposed retroreflective lenses provide excellent nighttime conspicuity when illuminated by light sources such as vehicle headlights. This tape is flame-resistant, making it ideal for garments used in hazardous work environments where both visibility and protection are essential.

Application Instructions:

  • Sew in place using a lockstitch, with no more than 12 stitches per inch (2.54 cm)
  • Position stitching at least 5/64" (2 mm) from the edge of the reflective fabric
  • Material can be cut by hand, die-cut, or guillotined
  • When applying multiple pieces to a single surface or as part of a set, ensure they are matched to maintain consistent daytime color and nighttime reflectivity

Available in 1" and 2" widths.
