Description

The 61" Dockseal Black (9006) 40 oz Heavy-Duty Tarpaulin Fabric is an ultra-heavyweight PVC-laminated tarpaulin fabric engineered for maximum strength and long-term performance in extreme conditions. At 40 oz per square yard, this is the heaviest tarpaulin in the lineup, designed for applications where durability is non-negotiable.

Built with a reinforced ripstop-style construction, Dockseal uses dual weft-inserted polyester fabrics—including 1000 denier yarns with every 8th yarn upgraded to 4000 denier—to significantly increase tear resistance and prevent rips from spreading. The PVC coating and 100% polyester backing provide excellent tensile strength, flexibility, and resistance to rot and mildew.

With a cold crack rating of –40 °C (–40 °F), Dockseal remains reliable in harsh winter environments, making it ideal for protective covers, industrial tarpaulins, and demanding outdoor applications where heavy abuse, weight, and weather exposure are constant.
