Description
The 75" Spectropile Cinder (9001) Protective Marine Fabric is a heavy-duty protective marine fabric designed for jobs where you need both toughness and a soft touch. Made from solution-dyed, non-woven plush polyester, it features a smooth outer surface that functions like the loop side of VELCRO®, allowing you to attach hook fasteners and secure it around surfaces that need protection.
A lightly sprayed latex backing adds structure and stability without making the fabric stiff or difficult to work with. It helps the material hold its shape, improves durability, and makes cutting and sewing cleaner and more controlled.
Built for harsh marine conditions, this fabric is highly resistant to UV exposure, chemicals, and fading, holding its color and integrity even with constant outdoor use. It’s easy to cut and sew, making it a go-to material for custom marine applications where durability and flexibility matter.
Common uses include fender covers, anti-scorch dividers, pier and piling wraps, mooring and anchor line chafe guards, sling pads, and hiking strap covers. It can also be used as a marine carpet or liner where a soft, durable surface is needed.
