Description
The Boat Cover Support System (2 Pole) provides maximum stability and support to help prevent water pocketing and cover sagging on boat covers. Using durable 1" webbing to anchor two telescoping support poles, this system creates a secure support structure that helps maintain proper cover pitch and drainage.
After the initial setup, reinstalling the system is quick and easy. Simply loop the webbing around the boat’s anchor points, pull the straps tight, install the cover, and position the support poles. The secure webbing design keeps the support poles properly supported between uses, reducing the need for repeated adjustments.
Designed for windshield-back covers on bass, fishing, and pontoon boats up to 28 feet, this two-pole system provides excellent coverage support and adjustable positioning for a variety of boat applications.
Features:
- Helps prevent water accumulation and sagging on boat covers
- Provides stable support for windshield-back cover applications
- Quick and easy repeat installation after initial setup
- Adjustable webbing allows for flexible positioning and tension control
- Compatible with adjustable support poles (pole not included)
Installation Instructions:
- Step 1: Locate the two support pole trees, which are connected together by one strap. Starting from the front of the boat, loop or secure the two loose straps around the front cleat(s) or the tip of the bow.
- Step 2: Attach the remaining two straps from the rear support tree to the rear corners of the boat. Adjust the webbing slides to create the desired loop size, then secure them to the aft corner cleats, transom eyes, or hull corners.
- Step 3: Use the adjustable webbing slides to tighten each strap, creating tension from front to back and side to side. Adjust the webbing placement to position the support pole trees in the desired location.
- Step 4: Once the support tree locations are set, install the adjustable support poles and adjust them to the desired height.
- Step 5: After final adjustments are complete, excess webbing may be trimmed if desired. Seal the cut ends using a hot knife or lighter to prevent fraying.
Sold per kit — including two (2) support caps and five (5) adjustable 18' webbing straps.
