The No. 196-5 Rawhide Mallet — 2.5" Head, made by C.S. Osborne & Co., has a lightweight head made of rolled water buffalo rawhide with an 11.25" lacquered hickory handle. Ideal for various upholstery work where a softer strike is preferred, thereby avoiding denting and scarring items being hammered.
